Show Round Policy
Purpose
This policy outlines the procedures for conducting show rounds at our nursery, ensuring a welcoming, safe, and informative experience for prospective families while maintaining the safety and privacy of children and staff.

2. Booking a Show Round

Show rounds must be pre-booked via [contact method, e.g., phone, email, or website].

Visits are scheduled during non-peak times to minimize disruption to children’s routines.

A confirmation email or message will be sent with the date, time, and guidelines for the visit.

3. Visitor Guidelines

Visitors must sign in upon arrival and fill in our safeguarding questionnaire.

Mobile phones and cameras are not permitted during the visit to protect children’s privacy.

Visitors are accompanied by a designated staff member throughout the tour.

4. Conducting the Show Round

The tour will include:

A warm welcome and introduction to the nursery’s ethos and staff.

A walkthrough of key areas, including playrooms, outdoor spaces, and facilities.

An overview of daily routines, activities, and the EYFS curriculum.

Staff will answer any questions and provide relevant information, such as policies, fees, and enrolment procedures.
5. Safeguarding and Confidentiality

Children’s names, personal information, or specific details about their care will not be disclosed during the tour.

Visitors are not permitted to interact directly with children unless supervised and approved by staff.
